Need an Appraisal for Your Vintage Made-in-Japan (MIJ) Guitar or Bass?As an advid collector of vintage MIJ guitars I get asked this question a lot: "What's my guitar worth?" I'm now offering a service where I'll provide you with an official appraisal of your guitar's value, on my letterhead. The appraisal will actually have two values listed: The Insurance Replacement value and a best-price eBay/Craigslist auction value. I am a recognized expert in Ibanez and other MIJ guitars from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. I can identify your guitar's date of manufacture (if it has a serial number), its model number, and provide recent eBay sales history to back up any appraised values I offer. In cases of very rare guitars, I can give you an educated evaluation of value and provide you with a good starting price should you decide to list a guitar for auction. I am brutally honest and won't low-ball you or inflate the value of any appraisal I give. If you would like to check my credentials, visit the Ibanez Collectors World Forum at http://ibanezcollectors.com/forum, where I am the number one member in terms of number of postings (approaching 10,000 posts); The Gear Page forum at http://www.thegearpage.comM, where I have over 1,000 postings; and my own website, where I have my personal collection on display at http://www.chucke.com/guitars. On ICW and TGP I am known as Chucke99. My official appraisal will include:
